Travel writer Gary McKechnie ranks Penang as "MUST VISIT" Island

Congratulations once again to Penang.An American travel writer Gary Mckechnie picked Penang Island in Malaysia as one of the TOP 10 Islands in the World "You must see before you die" in the "Budget Travel" magazine.

Other islands listed are Bali, Vieques in Puerto Rico, Easter Island in Chile, Ischia in the bay of Naples (Italy), Chiloe in Chile, Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Key West in the Conch Republic, Galapagos in Ecuador and Palm Islands in Dubai.

These destinations offered something that could not be found anywhere else, said McKechnie in his article. He praised Penang as Malaysia's food capital and suggested that visitors did their "food crawl" along Georgetown's street stalls. And I think it is a "MUST DO" in Penang,remember to "ready" your stomach before you come to Penang. hahaha :D

On the local architecture, he described Penang as having a range of modern high-rise buildings to 19th-century British architecture.He also pointed out a mix of beach resorts, preserved mangroves, fishing villages, temples, mosques and churches."Kek Lok Si was the best example as the largest Buddhist temple in South-East Asia," he said.

Undeniably, Kek Lok Si and Guan Yin Temple are "must visit" temples.

Why we should recycle?

Recycling is actually a very easy thing to do. You can just simply gather your recyclables and make a drop off at your local recycling center. And just one household recycling everything that they can would truly make a big difference in the health of the environment. 


Recycling and reusing are not only help the environment by keeping landfills open, but also reducing the amount of raw materials taken from the earth and the amount of pollution generated when new products are made from scratch. It costs significantly less to recycle items than to generate them from scratch. In additional, it also reduces the amount of air and water pollution that is the end product of most industrial product generation. So you are helping to make the planet more healthy and to save the Earth. That is something you can really be proud of!


What can you do for the old disc (CD/DVD)?


Normally, people will just throw the old disc to the dustbin, am I right?  


 In fact, all of the CDs/DVDs are recyclable. This is a very good opportunity to save the earth and make money. Now, you can start to collect the disc and sell it to me (recycle company).
